James A. Owen is going to be at the American Library Association Convention in New Orleans beginning tomorrow. Simon & Schuster has put him up at the W Hotel, and he’ll be in the lobby all evening Thursday sketching for any attendees who drop by.

I just received word from the Director of Calendars and Special Markets for a VERY well-respected publisher of fine illustrated books, that we may be a go for an HERE, THERE BE DRAGONS calendar! It would be a 2008 calendar, going on sale in the Summer of 2007, and would feature full-color versions of the [...]
